EMCOR UK has won three international safety awards from The British Safety Council.

The facility services provider was named jointly as a “Best in Country Winner” for the UK, as one of 11 Sector winner, and also received a Chief Adjudicator’s Award at the council’s annual International Safety Awards ceremony in recognition of its commitment to keeping workers and workplaces healthy and safe during 2021.

Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of The British Safety Council, congratulated EMCOR UK on the awards which are now in their 64th year and and celebrate organisations from around the world that have demonstrated their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health over the previous calendar year. The awards also recognise organisations that have shown commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work.

“Our purpose is to create a better world at work and a fundamental part of this is to create working environments that are safe.”

Jonathan Gawthrop, director for wellbeing sustainability and assurance, adds: “To win three International Safety Awards is exceptional and reflects the hard work and commitment of our colleagues to maintain the highest standards of health and safety.
