
EMCOR UK’s collaborative practices have been recognised with a ‘Pioneers in Collaboration’ award from the Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW), with the facility services provider additionally being re-elected as a corporate member of the institute’s Advisory Council.
Established in 1990, ICW promotes collaborative working as a professional business discipline, assisting organisations in the public and private sectors with developing effective business relations based on current best practices.
ICW’s annual awards ceremony at the House of Lords on 21st July 2022 was sponsored by BSI and hosted by Lord David Evans, the organisation’s Chairman, who ackowledged the significant work of industry in promoting and developing collaboration as a strategic business discipline.
The ICW ‘Pioneers in Collaboration’ award recognises organisations that successfully adopt collaborative, high-performance business relationships, collaborative leadership behaviours, and innovative collaborative systems.
ICW’s Advisory Council is made up of corporate and individual members, and eligible executives from its corporate membership were invited to participate in the re-election of corporate members, with EMCOR being selected as one of 18 corporate nominees.

EMCOR UK was one of the first six organisations in the world to achieve accreditation to the IS0 44001:2017 Collaborative business relationship management systems standard.
