Marco Beverage Systems Limited has been acquired by global equipment supplier to the foodservice, beverage, baking and food processing sectors, The Middleby Corporation.
Management, activities, and contacts for Marco remain unchanged with managing director, Paul Stack, continuing to support the existing team and consultant Drewry Pearson remaining in his role.
Marco will benefit from access to Middleby’s Coffee Solutions Group, independent sales rep networks, and participation in the equipment supplier’s “Innovation Kitchens” initiative – a dedicated, 40,000 sq. ft facility with 15 active cooking vignettes and 150 pieces of live Middleby commercial kitchen equipment that is used for product demonstrations.
Marco’s operations in China will add to and extend Middleby’s manufacturing and sales teams and benefit from deeper supply chain and manufacturing technology.
Marco’s key trademark brand will also have access to the Middleby Group technology base.
