RoSPA has recognised Irish multinational infrastructure solutions provider Actavo with four awards at its annual Health and Safety Awards ceremony.

Actavo Actavo Industrial Solutions UK received a RoSPA Order of Distinction Award following 19 consecutive years of achieving Gold Awards.

Actavo Network & In-Home achieved three awards including the RoSPA President’s Award, which recognises the company’s achievement of winning the Gold Award for 12 consecutive years; the RoSPA Fleet Safety Gold Medal, in recognition of seven consecutive years of Gold Awards; and, for a second consecutive year, the RoSPA Fleet Safety Technology Trophy for the road safety strategy which has been implemented across Actavo’s Industrial, Protective & Decorative Coatings (PDC), Network and In-Home divisions.

Safety is our number one company value, and these awards are an acknowledgement of that culture and of our long-term track record of excellence in this area.

Brian Kelly, Group CEO, says: “Actavo is honoured to have once again received this recognition from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

“RoSPA Awards are widely recognised as being among the foremost international accolades in the health and safety sector. Safety is our number one company value, and these awards are an acknowledgement of that culture and of our long-term track record of excellence in this area.”

The RoSPA Awards attract almost 2,000 international entrants annually, who vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.  Each award is categorised according to a different level of attainment denoted by ‘Merit’, ‘Bronze’, ‘Silver’ and ‘Gold’; with the judging panel bestowing special long-term awards that recognise organisations that have received Gold Awards for multiple consecutive years.

We are thrilled that Actavo has won these RoSPA Awards and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, says: “Accidents at work and work-related ill health don’t just have huge financial implications or cause major disruption – they significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. That’s why good safety performance deserves to be recognised and rewarded.

“We are thrilled that Actavo has won these RoSPA Awards and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.”
