Supporting the Cricketers of Tomorrow

Walker Logistics has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club (CCC) and will once again be the front-of-shirt sponsor for Gloucestershire’s Talent Pathway teams for the new cricket season.

Established to identify the most talented local cricketers at a young age, Gloucestershire’s Talent Pathway delivers professional coaching to budding players with the aim of turning them into first class batters and bowlers.

All Gloucestershire CCC Talent Pathway teams – from the under 10s to the under 18s, as well as the club’s Academy side – will take to the field wearing shirts that prominently display the Walker logo.

[P]artnering with a club that does so much for young people within its community is a huge source of pride for us.

Walker Logistics’ sales and marketing director, Charlie Walker—himself a keen cricketer, says: “We are delighted to continue our close relationship with Gloucestershire Cricket Club and proud to once again be supporting young cricketers.

“Supporting sport is something that Walker Logistics likes to do and partnering with a club that does so much for young people within its community is a huge source of pride for us.”

Mark Thorburn, Head of Talent Pathway at Gloucestershire Cricket Club, adds: “We are very pleased to continue our special partnership with Walker Logistics for a second season.

“Thanks to the backing that we receive from companies such as Walker Logistics, we can nurture the next generation of Gloucestershire cricketing talent.”
