Luceco to Sponsor SELECT’s Annual Golf Competition

Campaigning electrical body SELECT has confirmed global electrical brand Luceco Group as headline sponsor of its annual President’s Cup golf day.

“This year’s President’s Cup will be bigger than ever, with an extended field. We hope everyone involved has a great day out at the and that lasting relationships are formed which will be not only mutually beneficial but of advantage to the sector as a whole,” says Iain Mason, Director of Membership & Communications at SELECT.

The event, scheduled for July 31, brings together golfers from across Scotland to compete for the coveted silver trophy and socialize with industry colleagues. The all-day event features an East v West tournament, prizes for the longest drive, a putting contest, and advice for golfers of all abilities from an on-site golf pro.

“We are thrilled to be the inaugural sponsor of the SELECT President’s Cup, which is a terrific opportunity for members to come together and enjoy some healthy competitive rivalry against other branches from across Scotland,” says John Williams, Trade & Specification Director at Luceco Group.

Launched in January 2022, SELECT’s Associate Membership scheme gives manufacturers and service providers the chance to become part of Scotland’s largest construction trade association and build beneficial relationships with its 1,250 Member businesses. Legrand, Hispec, and V-Tac have all become Associates in 2023, following in the footsteps of fellow manufacturers Aico, Aurora, Electrium, Hager, Megger, Scolmore, and Thorn Lighting.
