Green Light and The Institute of Nonverbal Communication will be hosting a three-day workshop in London on the practical application of research into behavioural analysis in security settings.
Suitable for wide-ranging security and workplace professionals, including security operatives, trainers and assessors, the Tactical Risk Assessment of People (T.R.A.P.®) workshop will cover:
- assessing how the security operation should be adapted to respond to the identified threats;
- determining the baseline to reflect the operational environment and clientele;
- identifying the appropriate suspicious indicators to focus on; and,
- establishing workable and effective threat resolution protocols.
Questions to be answered include: How can specific procedures be adapted according to the perceived threat an individual poses? How should we overcome barriers to the acceptance of behaviour detection? And, what scientifically proven techniques might be deployed to identify insider threats? Â
Practical discussion will relate to:
- questioning techniques;
- search methods;
- how to identify biases and avoid distractions; and,
- analysing text to identify deception detection.
Philip Baum from Green Light and Diana Nowek from the Institute of Nonverbal Communication will lead the programme.
Participation is limited to 25 places and early registration is recommended.
