NHS Property Services’ Director of Responsible Business, Dr Shamir Ghumra, has been named in the ‘Top 50 Workplace Leaders’ of executives from a range of industries who create a positive impact.

The list recognizes leaders who show innovative thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and commitment to affirmative change in their daily work.

The inclusion of Dr Ghumra in the list demonstrates his leadership at NHSPS in creating stronger corporate social responsibility and improved environmental sustainability standards, as well as his commitment to leading on and delivering our corporate green plan, energy and environment strategy, and social & governance frameworks.

I am incredibly humbled to have been picked to join such a great list of leaders. My thanks to NHS Property Services for such an amazing start in what is the organisation’s tenth anniversary year, and to my fellow Executive colleagues for being incredibly supportive of myself and the work that I’m here to do.

Dr Ghumra joined NHSPS in December 2022 and is recognized both nationally and internationally for his work in corporate social responsibility. Since then, he has brought a wealth of experience to the NHSPS Executive Board as an ethical and sustainable construction expert.
