The eagerly awaited 52nd edition of FM Industry partner event, CIFF Shanghai – the world’s largest furniture exhibition – will take place from 5th to 8th September.
Attracting leading players from the Chinese and international furniture industry, the event provides fertile ground for effective business solutions in response to the evolving market trends. Renowned for its 51 consecutive editions, CIFF has been held since 2015 in both Guangzhou Pazhou (March) and Shanghai Hongqiao (September).
For its 52nd edition, CIFF Shanghai is set to focus on the high-end domestic market while actively fostering international cooperation. The fair aims to bridge the presence of industry-leading brands with crucial distribution channels in both the Chinese and international markets.
Underpinning the value of innovation and original design, CIFF Shanghai will feature two pavilions dedicated to top brands and special exhibitions. It will also provide a comprehensive range of activities and services tailored to cater to the diverse needs of over 100,000 product designers, interior designers, and design professionals attending the event.
In addition to serving as an ideal platform for brands to establish a strong foothold in the Chinese market, the 52nd CIFF Shanghai offers a plethora of opportunities to forge new business channels, both online and offline. Participants will have direct access to major high-end Chinese distributors like Red Star Macalline, as well as interact with smaller retailers, contractors, designers, and decision-makers.
One of the key highlights of the event is its emphasis on international cooperation. CIFF Shanghai has been proactive in building robust relationships with traditional and multimedia international distribution channels. The fair provides exclusive services to foreign buyers and professionals to facilitate their travel to China and foster valuable business connections with exhibitors. Furthermore, CIFF Shanghai has invested significantly in international promotion through its collaboration with major international media outlets.
With over 1,500 exhibitors and a vast exhibition area of 370,000 square meters at the prestigious NECC – National Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai Hongqiao, the 52nd CIFF Shanghai 2023 promises to be a comprehensive showcase of the entire furniture supply chain. The fair will encompass home, outdoor, and leisure furniture, furnishing accessories and textiles, furniture for offices and public spaces, as well as machinery for the furniture industry in conjunction with the Shanghai International Furniture Machinery & Woodworking Machinery Fair.
To better organise its offerings and highlight the central themes of furniture and new lifestyles, CIFF Shanghai has revamped its exhibition spaces with 13 dedicated NECC pavilions and four themed exhibition events:
