Polyteck Awarded Hard Services Contract at One Berkeley Street

Polyteck Group has won a three-year contract to deliver mechanical and engineering (M&E) and associated services at the One Berkeley Street hotel redevelopment in London.

The eight-storey, 1970s building has been developed by Crosstree Real Estate Partners, with architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and hotel architect Dexter Moren Associates overseeing its refurbishment. In addition to 181 guest rooms, the site offers 60,000 square feet of prime offices and 20,000 sqf of premium retail space. 

Under the agreement, Polyteck will provide mechanical and electrical (M&E), water treatment and fire services maintenance services for all common plant and systems at the property.

Darren Wills, senior contracts manager, says: “We’re delighted to have been successful in tendering for the One Berkeley Street contract after our focus on the hospitality sector and our reputation for M&E expertise and sustainability impressed the client. 

“We’re thrilled to be taking on this exciting property in such a fantastic location. This contract win is another example of our overall strategy and focus on static sites.”
