
King Saud University (KSU) has achieved a new milestone with an entry in Guinness World Records for the world’s largest dental hospital.
The university’s medical city provides patient treatment at three campus hospitals and eight affiliated Centers of Excellence. The development programmes of the university’s medical city and the expansion of its healthcare network have contributed to meeting the needs of patients and the local community in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 national development plan.
Occupying 37,165 square metres, the university’s dental hospital is ranked globally, and provides educational, training, surgical, and consultative services across specialisms including in multiple specialisms ranging from dentistry for patients with special needs and autism, and oral and maxillofacial pain clinics to a pathology laboratory for diseases of the mouth, face, and jaws. The hospital additionally operates cleft lip and palate clinics.
