
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) has launched an integrated medical response plan for pilgrims visiting Mecca during Ramadan.
The plan includes 35 centres and a dedicated medical facilities within the Grand Mosque. More than 80 ambulances equipped with cutting-edge medical technology will be deployed for emergency response.
SRCA has also mobilised a fleet of specialized vehicles to enhance mobility within the Haram courtyards which includes 7 disaster response vehicles, 150 bicycles and scooters, 10 motorcycles and 14 golf carts to facilitate the rapid transportation of critical cases.
887 employees and 900 volunteers will implement the plan, supporting SRCA’s commitment to the wellbeing of pilgrims on their spiritual journey.
