Heathway Shopping Centre Contract

Listen to this article

Churchill Group is delivering cleaning with security services also being delivered by its Amulet brand under a three-year contract with Heathway Shopping Centre in Dagenham, Essex.

Heathway Shopping Centre is a cornerstone of the local community and caters to approximately 2 million visitors annually. The centre plays a pivotal role in the area’s vitality and hosts renowned brands such as Boots, Specsavers, JD Sports, Shoe Zone and Savers. It is also a key part of a wider £10 million project by Barking & Dagenham Council to redevelop the area.

From a cleaning perspective, the centre will enjoy some continuity of service because Churchill now employs the existing group of cleaning operatives, who bring their extensive experience, to maintain the centre’s cleanliness standards. The team is excited to join the company, not least because after one year of service they will all become co-owners thanks to Churchill Group’s status as an Employee Owned Trust.

Darren Read, chief operating officer at Churchill Group, says: “We are proud to support Heathway Shopping Centre and its team in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.

“Our deep understanding of the local area positions us well to deliver exceptional service. The development is an exciting time for the whole community, and we’re delighted we can play our part.”
