Burges Salmon advises NUMA on First UK Property in Central London

Listen to this article

Burges Salmon has advised European digitalised hospitality platform NUMA on an 86-unit property located in Bloomsbury, London.

The London location is NUMA’s first location in the UK and is part of a wider growth strategy with plans for further expansion in cities including Brighton, Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Burges Salmon’s Built Environment sector group advised NUMA on the transaction, led by partner Richard Read and director Will Hall from the firm’s Hotels team, says: “It has been a pleasure working with NUMA to support its ambitious growth strategy and facilitate its first UK property in central London. Conducting business in the UK for the first time is as exciting as it is complex. Our international expertise, coupled with our strong experience in the UK real estate and hospitality markets, meant we were well positioned to guide our client through this new venture.”

We are thrilled to announce our expansion into the UK and our first property in London. As Europe’s most popular tourist destination and with a population of almost 9 million, this cosmopolitan city could not be a better fit for the NUMA success model.

Philipp Rohweder, Director Real Estate of the NUMA Group, adds: “We are thrilled to announce our expansion into the UK and our first property in London. As Europe’s most popular tourist destination and with a population of almost 9 million, this cosmopolitan city could not be a better fit for the NUMA success model. With the launch in London Bloomsbury, we have taken another decisive step towards being present in all European metropolises and NUMA now operates over 5,850 units across 33 European cities. The new NUMA Bloom will be our first property in the UK and we’re grateful to the whole Burges Salmon team for expertly guiding us through the complexities of the UK property market.”
