ASM Global has appointed Kathy Taylor as general manager in advance of the July opening of the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center in Ithaca, New York.
Taylor served most recently as general manager for Genetti Hospitality, regional director of sales for Genetti Hospitality and director of sales at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Ithaca. With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she has received multiple quarterly sales awards from Hersha Hospitality, the Chemung County Chamber Volunteer Award and the Small Business of the Year Award from Lycoming County Chamber.
In her new role, she will oversee every aspect of the venue management and customer experience as well as work closely with the Downtown Ithaca Local Development Corporation which owns the venue to drive new economic activity in the destination.
