Cushman & Wakefield has facilitated the lease of a 91,541-square-foot industrial building on a large parcel of approximately acres in National City (San Diego), California.

The new tenant is Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC, which is scheduled to take occupancy on August 1.

Cushman & Wakefield Vice Chair Brant Aberg, SIOR represented the landlord in the transaction. The tenant was represented by Bill Dolan and Ryan Sparks of CBRE.

“The property only recently became available to the market in Q2 2024. This full building lease showcases the desirability of the facility, including its location, features, and accessibility. It also emphasizes the desirability of southern San Diego’s industrial sector,” says Aberg. “We are thrilled to have secured such a reputable tenant at the property, which should serve as a perfect fit for the company’s operation as an off-site car rental storage and fleet maintenance facility.”

Located at 901 Bay Marina Dr, the property was originally built in 1972 and most recently renovated in 2017. The property features secured asphalt yard, 19 to 20’ clear height, 8 grade level doors, 5 dock high doors, onsite and ample street parking, and heavy power. The property is in close proximity to San Diego’s freeway network, including Interstates 5, 8, 15 and State Routes 94,163 and 54.
