Baker Smith, Chief Information Officer, Aramark
Baker is a seasoned, inventive senior leader who redefines and provides innovative technology-led experiences that grow existing business and create new revenue sources. He brings more than 30 years of experience helping leading organizations evolve to expand to new markets, to enable agility and innovation and to achieve market leader status. As CIO, he is responsible for leading Aramark’s agenda to drive technology-enabled experiences to fuel profitable growth.
He joined Aramark as Chief Technology Officer in 2018. Here, he focused on reimagining traditional customer experiences and migrating to a B2B2C approach in the marketplace to enable innovation. Before joining Aramark, Baker held numerous positions for Accenture in New York City that included Managing Director across Financial Services, Natural Resources, Healthcare, Retail, Transportation, Travel and Hospitality. He has worked with Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited in Miami; Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia; Best Buy and UnitedHealth Group, both in Minneapolis; GE Consumer Finance, GE Structured Finance Group, and GE Card Services, all in Connecticut; AMP (Australia Mutual) in Sydney; National Australia Bank in Melbourne; and Bank of America in Charlotte. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Louisiana State University. He has served as a Board Member of The Financial Clinic since 2014.
Vince Miller, Chief Information Security Officer
Vince joined Aramark in 2020 as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), where he was responsible for safeguarding the company’s technology assets and formulating a comprehensive security strategy. His leadership significantly enhanced Aramark’s cybersecurity posture. In 2022, he transitioned to the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Aramark in the United States, where he now oversees IT strategy and drives innovation, including the development of HospitalityIQ. In his current role, Vince has played a key role in transforming field technology services across the US businesses.
Prior to his tenure at Aramark, Vince held various leadership positions at PwC and Security Risk Advisors, where he served as a cybersecurity consultant. He specialized in global cyber response and emerging technologies. Vince holds a degree in Computer Science from Penn State University.
