CBRE Awards M&E Contract for The Gilbert London

Listen to this article

CBRE has awarded a three-year mechanical and electrical (M&E) services contract at The Gilbert ‘work and social spaces’ redevelopment on Finsbury Square to Jaguar Building Services.

Built as a Member’s club by Frederick Gould and Giles Gilbert Scott in 1930, ‘The Gilbert and One Lackington’ formed a campus of three inter-connected heritage buildings on the Finsbury Estate and underwent a refurbishment in 2001.

The Gilbert is a fantastic building, and Jaguar has the expertise and technical experience necessary for structures of this kind.

A significant further refurbishment in 2021 has transformed the building by making its eclectic design more suitable for use as office spaces, and adding green spaces and fabulous roof terraces with impressive views across London.

The contract will be overseen by Elliott Taylor, Account Manager, with Tom Amos as the Business Unit Head.

Taylor says: “The Gilbert is a fantastic building, and Jaguar has the expertise and technical experience necessary for structures of this kind. I look forward to continuing our partnership with CBRE and ensuring that our M&E solution is both innovative and energy efficient.”
