STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) has agreed the acquisition of Czech technical FM services and decarbonisation solutions provider Instalace Praha.
Instalace Praha generated sales of approximately €72 million in the 2024 financial year, predominantly from planning and implementing complex decarbonisation projects that typically involved upgrading to energy-efficient plant controls.
The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval, follows the December 2024 acquisition by STRABAG PFS of Prague-based hard services provider B2 Assets, which has resulted in an expansion of the group’s headcount in the Czech Republic to around 150 people.
Stefan Babsch, STRABAG PFS Group managing director, tells FM Magazine: “Combining the capabilities of Instalace Praha and B2Assets will support our existing long-term facilities management contracts in the Czech Republic, and add support for complex projects that need technical building equipment to ensure sustainable growth.”
STRABAG PFS manages its activities in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Luxembourg from its Vienna headquarters.
The transaction is expected to close for the second quarter of 2025.
