Listen to this article

Polyteck has secured a four-year contract with Westminster City Council to provide plumbing maintenance services, as well as improve infrastructure reliability and overall service quality for residents.

The contract will see Polyteck oversee high-quality repairs and maintenance as well as rapid response to, and effective resolution of, plumbing issues, to minimise disruption for thousands of Westminster residents, including council tenants and housing association properties.

This contract win aligns with Polyteck’s long-term strategy to expand our presence within the public sector and reinforces our expertise in responsive repair services.

The contract has created multiple employment opportunities, including for skilled plumbing professionals and support staff, and 20 engineers.

As part of the contract, Polyteck will introduce cutting-edge plumbing technologies, smart monitoring systems, and a more sustainable approach to water management. State of the art leak detection systems using hydrogen gas and IT systems will enhance efficiency, reducing waiting time for residents, improving service efficiency and contributing to Westminster’s broader environmental objectives.
