Burges Salmon Strengthens Corporate Real Estate Team

Burges Salmon has appointed Jonathan Cantor as a partner in its Corporate and M&A team with a focus on corporate real estate transactions.

Jonathan is a leading Corporate and M&A lawyer, specialising in corporate real estate, indirect real estate investment and property joint ventures. He has more than 25 years of experience advising on domestic and international indirect real estate transactions, often involving complex due diligence as well as warranty and indemnity insurance issues.

Acting for a range of UK-based and global clients, including institutional investors, real estate funds, private and listed property companies and family offices, Jonathan has a wealth of experience in acquisitions and disposals of corporate vehicles such as private companies, limited partnerships and unit trusts owning real estate assets. He has a particular specialism in structuring corporate real estate joint ventures for development and investment activities.

Jonathan’s appointment is a significant milestone for our Built Environment sector group.
