
On Saturday, 3rd May, Northwest Health Center will host a special occasion as Harris Health celebrates 50 years as the public healthcare and specialty care provider for residents of Northwest Houston and the Heights.

WHY?
Harris Health has been active in Northwest Houston for half a century—35 years at its current center and 15 years at its prior location off Heights Boulevard.
Over the years, the health center has emerged as a premiere primary care facility with physicians and researchers from Baylor College of Medicine providing expanded specialty services in family medicine, obstetrics, ophthalmology, podiatry, psychiatry, HIV case management, laboratory and pharmacy.
During the four-hour celebration, the public can meet staff and learn about mammography services and community partners.
Attendees will be treated to free food, drinks and entertainment including free Kona ice treats for everyone – with children additionally able to enjoy face painting, balloon art and a bounce house.
