ISS China wins large Integrated Facility Services contract

Contract Awards

World’s largest supplier of mobile telecommunications infrastructure equipment outsources facility services to ISS.

Huawei, the world’s largest supplier of mobile telecommunications infrastructure equipment, has outsourced the facility services for its first large multifunctional living campus to ISS China. This campus provides apartments, recreation centers, a medical center and many other living amenities for its residents. ISS will provide a full range of services to Huawei, including cleaning, security, office support, customer service, and facility management. ISS has also won the facility management service contract with Huawei’s newly built data center, the largest of its kind in China.
These two contracts bring ISS China's overall scope of service to approximately 600,000 square meters. Approximately 320 ISS employees will work on the contact, when it is fully operationally 1 April 2015.
Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., founded in 1987, is a Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It is the largest China-based networking and telecommunications equipment supplier. In 2014, Huawei successfully replaced Ericsson as the largest supplier of mobile telecommunications infrastructure equipment in the world.
Jack Zhou, Country Manager of ISS China, said:
– Huawei is a very important customer to ISS in China. We are proud to have been awarded this significant contract. ISS in China has worked closely with ISS in Hong Kong on this successful bid, and our Hong Kong colleagues will continue to support the execution and operation of the new contract. This contract will serve as an example of the quality and strength of ISS China's IFS capacities. I am also excited to see the booming growth in the needs of property management in the Chinese market.
ISS has been in China since 2005. Today, ISS has approximately 15,000 employees in China.
