Two New Hires for Universal Lighting Technologies
Universal Lighting Technologies, Inc., a global leader in lighting and member of the Panasonic Group, is delighted to welcome Donna Taylor and Rommell May to its team.
Donna Taylor has been appointed vice president of sales for the central region of the United States and brings extensive and diverse industry experience in sales management and sales leadership to the role (most recently as vice president of sales for a large energy solutions provider) as well as over a decade of experience from prominent roles in the lighting industry as Midwest account manager, Midwest ESCO manager, and area sales manager. Whilst in these roles, Taylor has created robust relationships with distributors, agents and key end-users.

Based out of Medina, Ohio, Taylor will report directly to Damiani and will manage the OEM and distribution channels in the region, providing support to agents, distributors and end users.
Five regional sales managers will report to her.
Rommell May has also been appointed director of business development ESCO/Retrofit and brings many years of experience in working with ESCOs and Maintenance Contractors, whilst serving in his previous role for a large energy solutions provider.

In his new position, May is responsible for creating and implementing a suitable strategy for specification of Universal Lighting Technology products in the ESCO/Retrofit channel. Rommell will work closely with the sales regional vice presidents, regional sales managers and field application engineers for a coordinated market approach and with product management to help define the needs for future products.
Joining the Solutions Business Development division, May will report to Jim Onishi, Senior VP Strategic Business Development, and to Mark Verheyen, president and CEO of Universal and President of Panasonic Lighting Americas, Inc.
