The company was also commended as ‘SME Business of The Year’ by the panel that named its founder, Shamir Jiwa, as the London Borough's ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’.

Energy and telecommunication consultancy MAXIMeyes, managed by Shamir Jiwa, has received two top awards at the Sutton Excellence Business Awards 2016.

Held at the Holiday Inn in Sutton on 17 November, the awards honour the finest business achievements of the past twelve months. The team at MAXIMeyes was awarded with ‘Best Customer Services’ of the year and was commended as ‘SME Business of The Year’. MAXIMeyes CEO and founder, Shamir Jiwa, was also awarded with the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award.

Since opening in 2004, the business has seen significant growth in revenue and profit figures, revolutionising the energy consultancy sector. Commenting on the result Shamir Jiwa, CEO, said: “To win any business award is fantastic but to win two awards in the town where you have lived and worked all your life, is even greater achievement. The team has worked so hard for this and I’m delighted for them, they all deserve it”.
