King's College Hospital Contract

Contract Awards, Healthcare, EMEA
Artic Building Services will provide HVAC maintenance services under a new contract with the King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The contract for the provision of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services was awarded following a competitive tender process.

Although Artic has previously worked alongside other Hard FM service providers at King's Denmark Hill campus, the trust took the decision to contract out its maintenance, specialised emergency planning, and statutory compliance testing requirements to a single-source supplier.

Under the terms of the agreement, the company will install a full-time on-site supervisor to oversee separate planned and reactive service teams.

Artic managing director, Colin Trowell, says:

"Our recent appointment strengthens Artic’s reputation and position as a reliable and diverse provider of hard FM maintenance services to the healthcare sector in the United Kingdom.

"We look forward to developing our relationship with one of London's preeminent teaching hospitals."
