Maximising Biophilic Design Phygitally

Acuity, the Axis Group’s front-of-house division, is hosting a breakfast briefing in London to explore the power of first impressions in reception and corporate lobby environments,
The event which will feature key speaker, Oliver Heath from Oliver Heath Design, who will explore the emerging science of Biophilic design – a way of connecting with nature to improve health and wellbeing. Heath will also discuss new research that demonstrates how Biophilic design can improve the spaces we live and work in, and how these improvements, combined with other innovations, can reduce stress, improve mental and physical health, and increase productivity.
Sam Farrant, managing director of Vpod Solutions, will be presenting a paper on the ‘Phygital’ – how digital and physical assets can be combined in a seamless way to engage customers in front-of-house environments and the benefits of integrating the two systems.
Acuity Director, Chiara Di Rienzo, says it is important for the industry as a whole to help further professionalism:
