HMRC Hard Services Contract

Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has awarded Atalian Servest a new, five-year multiservices contract which includes engineering, building maintenance and the provision of technical support.
The facility services provider which already provides key services to HMRC will additionally be responsible for the implementation of a computer-aided facility management (CAFM) system and helpdesk services at several sites in HMRC's Central Region, which includes Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Nottingham.
HMRC is currently embarked on a modernisation programme that includes an estates transformation strategy, implemented to support new methods of collecting tax and customs revenue.
Commenting on the award, Atalian Servest's CEO for the UK & Ireland, said:
