Valley Milk's 142,000 sq.ft manufacturing facility in Turlock, California which was designed and built by EMCOR Group subsidiary, Shambaugh & Son, has been named as Food Engineering Magazine’s "2019 Plant of the Year".
This is the fifth such award to a facility designed and built by the EMCOR subsidiary.

Valley Milk's powder manufacturing facility opened in 2018 and can accept 50 milk tankers and process 2.5 million pounds of milk into non-fat dry and skimmed milk powder daily.
The design of the plant meets or exceeds stringent regulations that are in effect in the state of California relating to energy costs, and the plant is almost 100 per cent sustainable in its water consumption.
