Supporting Valley Hospital Charity

A team from Dartford-based hard facilities management services company Artic has raised £600 for the hospitals Valley Hospital Charity in a warm-up for the ‘Cycle to Amsterdam’ Ride4Life Cycle Ride from 12th to 16th June 2019.
Both events are organised by the charity which is dedicated to enhancing patient care at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust by engaging the community, patients, their families and staff to support their Hospitals through fundraising and volunteering.
June 12th will see the Artic Team set off to Cycle to Amsterdam on real bikes, a total of 340 miles, with the aim of raising as much money for the charity as possible. To date, the team has raised £4,000 of its annual target of £10,000 supported by the generosity of friends and suppliers.
Projects that are being funded by the cycle rides include a ‘Little Buds’ Special Care Baby Unit and the purchase of a new Hologic Imaging 3D Breast Scanner.
