Axis Group Appoints Head of Recruitment

Company News, EMEA, Talent, Service Provider News

UK integrated facility services provider Axis Group has appointed Billy Horgan as its new Head of Recruitment.

Horgan joins from Hermes where he was successfully tasked with reducing recruitment costs and bringing processes in house, and has previously worked for facilities management and construction recruitment agencies where he was responsible for setting team strategies and goals.

Having already organised recruitment open days which have attracted an additional 120 security officers to the group, Billy is credited with introducing a new Applicant Tracking System to streamline the recruitment process and provide further insight to Axis Group stakeholders. In his new role, Horgan will also raise awareness of the opportunities that exist for existing staff to further progress their careers.

Discussing the appointment, Jonathan Levine, Axis Group CEO, said:

"I believe Billy will be an asset to the company with the skills and know-how to further raise our profile as an excellent business to work for.

"The results so far have been impressive, and we are now receiving hundreds of applications for each role we advertise, almost instantly."

Horgan said:

"I am looking forward to working with the Marketing team to help promote Axis Group to potential employees, and further improving the careers function on our website.

"I believe technology is key to ensuring Axis Group stays at the forefront of the industry in terms of attracting, and just as importantly, retaining talent."
