Top ESG Ranking for ISS

EMEA, Service Provider News

ISS has been named in first place for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) policies by a Sustainalytics report on 89 companies in the commercial services sector.

The facility services provider was awarded 84 out of a total possible 100 points in a peer group assessment published on 29 April, which also commended the Danish multinational for its management of human capital and occupational health and safety, and taking a visible stance against bribery and corruption.

Sustainalytics' report is used by investors to identify and understand financially material ESG risks in a range of areas.

Commenting on the news, ISS A/S Head of Group Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Corporate Responsibility, Joseph Nazareth, said:

"We are extremely proud and humbled to be ranked as a leader in our Industry. Being a company with more than 480,000 employees around the world, environmental, social and governance issues are directly embedded in our business strategy and operations.

"We see ESG issues as top priority and we are continuously looking for areas where we can improve."
