Ricoh MFP Cloud Scoops BLI PaceSetter Award

Company News, EMEA, Supplier News

Global document imaging solutions evaluator Buyers Lab has selected Ricoh's evolving multifunction printer (MFP) Cloud ecosystem for a BLI PaceSetter award.

Ricoh's solution stood out during a Keypoint Intelligence analysis for its ability to connect multiple apps seamlessly.

The Japanese manufacturer's intelligent MFPs and IoT devices are also renowned for their easy integration with RICOH Cloud Workflow Solutions - a suite of technologies that delivers scalable, subscription-based Cloud printing.

Buyers Lab additionally highlighted Ricoh's role in developing an MFP ecosystem that supports updateable, configurable technologies.

Discussing the award, Jamie Bsales, Director of Solutions Analysis at Keypoint Intelligence, said:

"Ricoh was one of the pioneers in developing embedded software platforms able to extend the functionality of the MFP. The company is now leading the shift to cloud-ready MFPs and the associated ecosystem that adds tremendous value for customers. These abilities are driven by underlying software platform technologies and the associated cloud services that let customers leverage the MFP capabilities, which can scale with businesses’ evolving needs. Robust offerings in these areas are essential, and Ricoh is providing them.”

Olivier Vriesendorp, Vice President Product Marketing for Ricoh Europe, added:

"This award is recognition of our ongoing innovation and leadership in the cloud MFP ecosystem space. Providing customers with agile, secure and sustainable solutions forms the foundation of a digitally empowered workplace. We look forward to helping our customers evolve further throughout the digital age with leading technology that enables them to take advantage of the latest developments from Ricoh."
