Contract Awards, Education, EMEA, Environmental Management, Service Provider News

Churchill Environmental, the environmental compliance division of the Churchill Group, has secured a £280,000 contract to provide water sampling and analysis services across a portfolio of 60 teaching, administrative and residential buildings at the University of Bath.

Under the four-year contract, Churchill Environmental will deliver water hygiene and legionella control compliance solutions, and integrate its reporting systems with the university's electronic compliance and asset management system to automate provision of up-to-the-minute data and progress reports.

Announcing the contract award, David Hoare, the university's Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Compliance Manager, said:

"Following a rigorous procurement process, Churchill Environmental stood as an ideal supplier for managing our site’s water systems. We have a multi-use estate and the team demonstrated its ability to be flexible enough to adapt to our ever-changing environment.”

Spencer Culley, Churchill Environmental managing director, said:

"We are very excited to be working with the University and this win is testament to our continued growth in the higher education sector. We are looking forward to working with the university’s team to deliver a high-quality and fully compliant service."

The University of Bath has achieved "Gold" status within the government of the United Kingdom's Teaching Excellence Framework and is ranked in fifth place for graduate prospects by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019.
