Wowing Spectators at Wimbledon
The new No.1 Court roof has opened in-time for this summer’s event and adds another dimension for hospitality guests attending The Championships, Wimbledon, guaranteeing play and longer spells of entertainment. Another first is the launch of a hospitality restaurant within the Wimbledon Grounds – the Rosewater Pavilion. Alongside the completion of the second show court investment this marks a significant year for Keith Prowse who for 2019 will bring enhanced innovation, new design and styling to an already iconic hospitality offering.
As hospitality partner of The Championships, Keith Prowse is committed to raising the benchmark in this new era of hospitality. Its expertise and precision have been driven by extensive market research and three decades of experience in partnering with The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC).
The Rosewater Pavilion allows guests to access and purchase Centre Court and No.1 Court tickets through its exclusive packages, and thanks to the retractable roof on No.1 Court guests are now able to watch matches for longer without rain interrupting play. Along with the club-like feel of The Lawn (previously known as The Gatsby Club), which draws dining influence from high street trends and international interior design, Rosewater Pavilion sits amidst beautiful landscaped gardens, paying homage to tennis in an English garden, with British inspired à la carte food and drink menus. Diners will also have the opportunity to meet former tennis stars while they relax.
The team at Keith Prowse have partnered with the best British sourced suppliers throughout the hospitality offering and will be introducing a bespoke cheese from Fen Farm Dairy, producers of the multi-award-winning Baron Bigod. Other suppliers include fans’ favourite Kentish strawberries from Hugh Lowe Farms, and Severn and Wye Smokery’s Wimbledon smoked salmon.
Handpicked wines, renowned mixologists and discreet and attentive service levels will be delivered alongside seasonal menus in The Lawn, designed and prepared by the Michelin starred Roux dynasty.

The relationship between the AELTC and Keith Prowse dates from 1982 and continues to explore new opportunities to evolve the guest experience and further enhance the premium nature of hospitality packages for The Championships.
Wimbledon’s hospitality partnership with Keith Prowse was recognised by the Sports Business Awards winning ‘Best Sports Event Hospitality’ in 2017. A five-year contract extension was recently signed with the AELTC, allowing Keith Prowse to continue delivering exclusive experiences for business and leisure guests who want to enjoy The Championships at a different pace. This multi-year agreement also sees Keith Prowse committed to contributing £5 from each guest booking official hospitality for The Championships 2019 onwards to the Wimbledon Foundation.
