Extending the Mapping Capabilities of Drones

Company News, EMEA

Coptrz has partnered with camera specialist Phase One Industrial to make iXM Series high-productivity metric cameras available on its drone platforms.

The camera manufacturer's iXM-100 and iXM-50 models have been designed to work with a variety of UAV-based aerial operations and support precision mapping and advanced inspection capabilities.

Easily integrated, they can capture pixel-perfect images at up to 100MP, with the iXM-100 also capable of capturing up to 3 frames per second, with backside-illuminated sensors further enhancing light sensitivity and extending dynamic range.

Both models are available with a variety of lenses to fine-tune the camera to each individual use case. Lightweight and robust, the iXM Series is also IP53 compliant offering high resistance to vibrations and the effects of dust and water.

The iXM Series has already been used to great success in areas such as 2D and 3D mapping, and for inspection work in a wide range of fields, including wind turbines, powerlines, civil engineering, railways, pipelines and more. With its high-quality camera, the iXM-100 is the perfect solution for professionals working in precision surveying or on large-scale projects, while the 50MP iXM-50 is a great alternative for those working on smaller operations.

Coptrz will be hosting a FREE demonstration day for customers in the UK on 18th July - visit for additional information.
