Keeping Brenntag Safe in Sunderland

Company News, Health, Safety, Security & Environment, Industrial, EMEA

A Taktis fire alarm and control panel from Kentec is protecting the Sunderland facility of chemical distributor Brenntag UK & Ireland.

Brenntag operates 24 sites across the United Kingdom and Ireland, and at more than 580 locations in 73 countries.

Recommended by electrical contractor, Pitts Wilson, Kentec’s technology has already helped the site to pass a BAFE/NSI inspection.

Mark Ellse, Fire Systems Manager for Pitts Wilson, says:

"Taktis has provided an intelligent solution that is very simple to install and commission. It is also fully open-protocol and fully integrated with the Hochiki systems onsite.

"The full colour 7” touch-screen display is easy for the customer to use and understand, especially in an emergency.

"Along with providing a great system, Kentec also provided excellent customer support throughout the project."
