BACnet Support for Aircuity Smart Building Platform
Company News, Energy Management, Americas, Supplier News
Aircuity has added BACnet Client capabilities to its smart energy management platform to provide users with cost-effective access to an overview of a facility's operation.
The company has also enhanced the MyAircuity platform to focus on accessibility, ease of operation and interoperability by supporting Chinese language speakers and providing new charting and exporting capabilities on user dashboards. An update to the MyAircuity 'Flow driver' now allows individuals to exchange information about individual rooms, rather than just test zones.
BACnet Client allows the Aircuity platform to integrate additional points made available to the network by building systems, and present them alongside Aircuity’s data - thus reducing integration costs and giving clients easy access to all key building parameters. BACnet Client is currently available on all new Aircuity projects, and can be loaded remotely onto existing systems.
Announcing the platform upgrade, Aircuity vice president of sales, Pete Hmelyar, said:
"BACnet Client allows Aircuity to cost effectively bring more valuable information into our dashboard analytics.
"Now, our customers can view more data in one place, which saves time and helps when diagnosing any sort of issue within the building."
