RoSPA Health and Safety Awards

Company News, Health, Safety, Security & Environment, EMEA

Atalian Servest has achieved Gold and Silver status in the 2019 Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards.

Atalian Servest’s technical services division was the recipient of a Gold RoSPA Achievement Award in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping employees to return home safely at the end of the working day.

In addition the group's Head Office in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, earned a Silver RoSPA Achievement Award which recognises its approach in ensuring colleagues are as safe outside the office as they are inside.

Both awards will be presented to Atalian Servest on Thursday 12 September 2019, during a ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel at Glasgow Central.

Commenting on the achievement, Daniel Dickson, CEO of Atalian Servest UK & Ireland, said:

"We are delighted to have achieved Gold and Silver awards from RoSPA for our health and safety practices. These awards are testament to the fact that the safety of our colleagues, customers and suppliers is paramount to Atalian Servest. Our people are at the heart of our business so naturally we ensure we have the appropriate measures in place to protect them."

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, added:

"The RoSPA Awards have become the key fixture in the health and safety calendar with new sponsors and new awards this year including the Leisure Safety Awards, the [email protected] [email protected] Award and the Inspiration Awards. Highly-respected, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, RoSPA award winners benefit from the wide-ranging rewards of improved sector reputation."

The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievements in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
