Securing a North London Primary School

Education, EMEA, Supplier News

Delta Security has installed an integrated access control and IP-based HD CCTV system at Grasmere Primary School in Stoke Newington, north-east London.

The school had previously relied on a variety of security protocols that required management of a large number of keys.

With the new solution, a Salto access control system enables school officials to print colour-photo ID cards that double-up as access control cards and can be programmed to provide different levels of access authorisation. Cards can also be cancelled remotely in the event of theft or loss.

The IP-based HD CCTV system provides visual confirmation of who has gained entry to the site, and when.

To identify potential implementation problems, the integrated system was installed and tested by school staff over a holiday period.

Nick Mallender, Grasemere's Head Teacher, says:

"We now feel we have brought our security system in line with the innovative culture of our school.

"I would not hesitate in recommending Delta Security to other schools. Both Dave his and the team of engineers’ communication was second to none, making the installation process seamless."
