Exhaust Filters for Harsh Industrial Environments

Pfannenberg, Inc., has announced the launch of NEMA Type 3R/4/4x Filterfan® rainhoods for exhaust filters used in industrial thermal management.


Used to protect exhaust filters and applications from harsh or outdoor environments including rain, water spray, snow and fluid spills, the rainhoods incorporate multi-dam seal technology which utilises high-compression and a closed-cell gasket design to ensure a proper NEMA Type/IP rating.

 

A unique mounting system offers certified protection when used in conjunction with Pfannenberg Filterfans® and exhaust filters.

 

Certification tests are conducted with and without filters running to ensure reliability.

 

Toolless design allows for easy removal of rainhoods for maintenance or filter mat replacement, and tamper-proof options are also being offered alongside painted galvanised steel and stainless steel finishes, and FDA-compliant food and beverage grade versions.
