Catering Engineering Company Expands Projects Team
Catering, Supplier News, United Kingdom
North of England engineered commercial kitchens solutions supplier NWCE Foodservice Equipment has announced new appointments to its projects team.
Headed by Nick Brassett (head of business development) and Lyndon Moorby (design lead), the now eight-strong team will focus on the design, specification, build and completion of commercial kitchens and bars.
The new team members are:
Jake Gorton, who joins as Design and Estimating Coordinator;
David Raistrick, a commercial manager with over 35 years' experience in the catering industry, mainly gained in management and consultancy roles;
Kevin Nesbitt, a senior project manager with over 20 years of experience who also qualified as a gas engineer; and
Donna Hillidge, an established member of the company's sales team who will be supporting the projects team with sales and projects aftercare for maintenance contracts and asset management.
Managing director, Ben Odling, says: "Like many during the early part of the pandemic and initial lockdown we had a drop in revenue.
"However, I had noticed that due to cutbacks, there was a pool of extremely talented and experienced people being let go and I thought it would be a massive loss to the industry if we didn't try to help them and bank on their knowledge.
"The benefit also of having a very well established and efficient service department means we can back up any projects that we deliver with great aftercare and warranties."
